To say Hong Kong’ers like food is an understatement. The city is home to some of the most food-obsessed people on the planet and produces an exceptional line up of bars and restaurants ranging from the traditional to super-fancy fusion foods, each more drool-worthy than the next.
But as consumers become increasingly aware of their consumption habits and the environmental impact on their surroundings it’s ever important for restaurateurs and cafe-owners to make use of modern technology to stay ahead of the competition and create innovative digital loyalty programs to increase visits and revenue without having a negative impact on the environment.
Diners lose millions of paper loyalty cards every year. Creating even more environmental waste. And with diners missing out on their rewards.
Well not if you are a regular at one of these innovative Hong Kong-based cafes and restaurants. Thanks to Loopy Loyalty, they are leading the way, in a city that doesn’t sleep, and everyone is glued to their smartphone at all times.

Dr. Fern’s is a ridiculously cool and sophisticated speakeasy hidden away behind an intentionally misleading door in the basement of Landmark Atrium. A selection of more than 250 different gins from around the world — the largest selection in Hong Kong — set them apart from the many other gin bars we have in the city but something not many know is that this handsomely designed space already opens it’s doors at 2 PM in the afternoon to serve world-class coffees (in-house or takeaway) making it also the ideal place for a quiet meeting away from the office.
Dr. Fern will prescribe loyal visitors with a free caffeinated drink after collecting 8 stamps.
