Apple Wallet is a native application that is installed (and cannot be deleted) on all iPhones that have iOS6 and above. This basically means it’s available on all iPhone. And is available in globally.

but Apple Pay (the easy, secure, and private way to pay on iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Mac) is not yet available everywhere. It’s currently available in 34 countries although Apple says it has plans to roll it out globally. And we can see that Apple are stepping up the speed of this roll-out.
From our experience, as soon as an iPhone user gets used to the convenience of using Apple Pay they start demanding that their other cards (like Loyalty Cards, Gift Cards, Membership Cards etc.) are digitised and can be stored and used in Apple Wallet.

Currently the situation for Android users is not quite as clean.
Because there are many ‘flavours’ of Android, Google Pay (wallet) is not installed as standard and typically is only available where Google Pay has been rolled out.
This means in countries wherever a customer can add their credit card to Google Pay. Once a customer has added a credit card to Google Pay, the application cannot be deleted.
Irrespective of whether Apple Pay or Google Pay has been rolled out in your country, your customers can still enjoy the benefits of your Loopy Loyalty Card.

If your customer is an iOS user, they can store their loyalty card in Apple Wallet.
If they are an Android user in a Google Pay supported country, they can store their loyalty card in Google Pay.
If they are an Android user in a country that doesn’t yet support Google Pay, they can store their loyalty card in Wallet Passes.
